We can create and maintain trade networks large enough to feed billions of people, to enrich billions of people with goods and services that would of blown the minds of people living two hundred years ago.
We have mapped our genome, we have unraveled the riddles of biodiversity, we know what stars are made of, we have even split the fucking atom. And yet we’re still shooting black teenagers? We’re still slashing the throats of people who challenge our preconceptions about gender? We’re still forcing teenager girls to marry their rapist? Something is wrong folks, something is very fucking wrong. And the older I get the more aware of it I become.
